New way to take pics

I've come up with this great way to photograph my bags to post on my online store. I bought this hook at Micheals and some neutral paint and stuck in on the wall........

New Bag Made

Last night I finished up an order with a new fabric (shown below). I took pics of the bag and will post them tomorrow. I'm making one for myself too. I actually do that with every fabric I have, hehe.

My first sale on 1000 Markets

YAY, I just had my first official sale on my new online store....it's at www.1000markets.com/shops/abigailleigh. I have sold the fabulous Zebra print Maggie with pink lining. Now I am just waiting for the darn fabric to arrive!!!!!! I WILL have all of the fabric options I currently have up on the shop by the end of the weekend.....

Oh Happy Day.......

I now have the Zebra print fabric being shipped from the Chambersburg PA Joann's to the Westminster Joann's!!!!!!!! Yippee Skippee!!!!!! I'm so excited, now I can fill my 6 orders for the bag.......I ordered 6 yds of it since it's such a HOT pattern so I can sell the heck out of that bag!!!

Crazy Weekend Coming to an End

I spent this weekend in Ocean City, MD for a girls weekend with my mom and 6 of her friends. It ended up being St Patty's Day weekend so we partied it up at Secrets........

Orders Filled

So, I got all of the orders filled that needed to be by this weekend.

2 Large Maggie bags and 2 Lola Wristlets

The bag above is the first magnetic clasp I put in.

The one above I put a zipper in.....


Both bags I also put pockets in for extra storage. Next I want to try a zipper pocket in the bag.

Now I have 7 orders for the Brown and Cream Zebra stripe bag........
They just need to get the fabric back in at Joann's

Still Truckin'

Well, I'm still moving along on my orders.......the only snag is that the zebra print fabric is sold out at Joann's and they didn't get an order this week : ( I'm thinking I might need to just buy the whole bolt when it comes back in. So, I have to 2 bags and 2 wristlets to finish by Friday morning.....I know I can do it!!!! Then it's off to the beach!!!!!

Busy little bee

I have 5 orders to fill for the end of the week and 1 other that is for an Easter gift. My latest bag really caught the eye of EVERYONE!!!!!
I'm making 3 of these and a tote bag using the same fabric to carry work files and a laptop. I have another order for this lovely but with a hot pink lining.

Two of them want a zipper in the bag instead of a button or magnetic clasp so we will see how I do with that!!!!!

The other 2 orders are a Redskins Wristlet and a custom Miami Dolpins beach tote.

Wish me luck and I will be posting all of the creations........

I found this cool website that sells charms wholesale. I actually saw someone wearing a shirt that had a charm on it and I thought that was a cute idea.
