Christmas Eve

So, sadly I'm sitting here a my job waiting until 5pm to get the heck out of here......I can't wait until I am making my handbags full time and I don't have to worry about sitting at the computer. I'll just be sitting at my sewing machine. I'm also axniously waiting for the call to set up my travel arrangements to go to FL for an interview....I'm super excited about that.

Happy Holidays!!!!

New orders to fill

I have several orders to fill this week end and I have a lot more wristlets to make for Christmas gifts. Tonight I got 3 wristlets made and cut out the fabric for 4 more and a large purse. Tomorrow night when I get home I need to make as many as possible. I am a major procrastinator, obviously. Here are 2 pics of my latest order I had to fill. It was a special request so I got 2 yards of the fabric b/c I figured I could sell a ton here in Baltimore.

My Birthday

This Saturday was my birthday so my friends and I partied at the local Greene Turtle and got to see my friends band play....it was a great night.

Of all of the times I've been to NYC, I've never seen Grand Central Station.....It was amazing!!!!!

Christmas Party 2008

Saturday December the 13th my friend Desiree and I had a Christmas Party at my house. It was so much fun. Desiree brought Balderdash and a handful of people play that while the rest chatted in the other room. After a while when everyone was there we did the White Elephant gift exchange. It was so much fun......here are some pics of the fabulous gifts people brought.

Stricker (my brother in law) with the gift that I ended up with on his head....Thanks Corinna for bringing the strainer, I love it!!!!!

Chris ended up with the meat carver that Desiree was so happy about.....

Lauren brought the owl figurine (of course) and said she was hoping my sister would get it since she knows that my sister called her the owl girl....hehe. Well Desiree (or Chris) ended up with it.

It looks like Christmas morning after all of the presants were openind.....

My Christmas Tree

This is my first Christmas by myself and with a "real" tree. I got a fake tree at Micheal's and it's super cute. I decorated it with pink and green balls and wraped fabric around the bottom that is pink with a green print.....I'm so proud of it and I love the silver star on top.

Turkey Day Weekend Project

This weekend I made a large Maggie bag for my mother for her birthday. I figured out how to sew on a button and add a rope loop so that it closes. I'll have to stock up on rope and buttons now : )
